Biography

Miss Chloe has shown a love of music since she was young. She joined the choir and percussion band at the age of seven and has wished to be a musician ever since. Mesmerized by the beauty of classical guitar, she started learning it during her adolescence and won multiple awards, including first place at the school music festival.

She studied Digital Music and Media at the Hong Kong Design Institute and received the HKSAR Government Scholarship for Outstanding Performance. Later, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Digital Media from the University of the West of England. After working in the creative advertising industry, she pursued a career as a full-time guitar teacher.

Miss Chloe’s teaching philosophy emphasizes making music fun and setting goals for different stages of learning, encouraging students to learn and practice effectively. With this in mind, her innovative approach to introducing music to young children has been recognized by both teachers and parents. Many of her students have earned places in guitar competitions. To acknowledge the excellence of her teaching, international fringe music festivals and competitions have awarded her the “Best Teacher Honour Award”

Providing students with opportunities to perform is key to building their confidence. Miss Chloe holds a student concert every year, which serves as a milestone in her career and creates platforms for her students to perform. She believes the musical scene in Hong Kong will be vibrant and will continue to foster connections between students and music education.

Miss Chloe自小熱愛音樂，七歲時加入合唱團和敲擊樂隊，從此立志成為音樂家。青少年時期學習古典結他，並多次獲獎，包括學校音樂節冠軍。

在香港設計學院修讀Digital Music and Media 期間獲得政府獎學金，後來在英國西英格蘭大學獲得Digital Media 學士學位。以富創意的思維晉身廣告界數年後，憑着對音樂的熱愛選擇了成為全職結他老師。

Miss Chloe 強調音樂的趣味和學習目標，並創新地向孩子們介紹音樂，受到師生的認可，並獲得國際藝穗會音樂節及比賽頒發”Best Teacher Honour Award”。並積極舉辦學生音樂會，幫助學生建立自信，致力為香港的音樂教育出一分力。
